Baby Fashion Label Oh Baby London Launch its Autumn/Winter Collection with a Little Help from Graffiti Artists

(PRWEB) October 6, 2007 -- Born in the vibrant, bustling East End, Brick Lane label Oh Baby London(www.ohbabylondon.com) are no strangers to the creativity of street art. So when the Autumn/Winter collection beckoned, Hannah McHalick, founder and head designer, collaborated with the well known artists FifteenFrames. www.fifteenframes.com

As a collection of established artists, FifteenFrames brought a raw talent to bear on a traditionally conservative branch of fashion. "When I founded Oh Baby London, baby clothes were pastel and dull. A lot has changed in the last 4 years, but Oh Baby London still pushes the boundaries," explains McHalick. "Our customers are mostly urban and aware of the cultural trends behind designs in graffiti and fashion and want more from their kids clothing. Above all Oh Baby London is about fun design, and for us graffiti is a wonderfully expressive art form that adds fun and raises a smile."

The new designs feature a customised wooden toy train with New York subway style graffiti across it. Available as a playsuit, bodyvest or t-shirt.

In addition, the new collection features the anticipated launch of a range for premature babies featuring one of the label's bestselling slogans revised for speedy babies: "been inside for nearly 9 months".

An edgy black and white "Been inside for 9 months" playsuit is also added to the super selling favourite's range.

New leggings appear in six different styles of stripes and prints made from 5% Lycra for comfort and washability.

A fabulous new snow leopard print of soft dove grey leopard spots is accompanied by the classic and funky "I rock" style.

For girls, prints featuring delicate Victorian lace, snow leopard "I rock" dresses, wild silver glitter tiara print (for the girlie girl within) and smocking and puff sleeves all make an appearance this season.

For the boys range, future classic new slogans "dirt is my friend" and "danger is my middle name" are presented in camouflage with rich striped arms.

There is also a Kimono style 100% cotton range with funky stripes for boys and girls.

Oh Baby London's much loved Rock n roll cut skinny jeans range have been added to with black, indigo and a Vintage wash, with copper rivets, zips and Oh Baby London logo print copper buttons, for an authentic style and to be hardwearing. The jeans come packaged in a tin Oh Baby lunchbox packaging, for little guys and girls who are way too cool for school.

Oh Baby London sells in Harrods, House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols, Barneys New York and many other UK and world wide stores.
